Following STORM

Delta Vega rolled out Special Topics in Risk Management or STORM in late 2024. Its goal is to address the demand for financial engineering students and working financial engineers to expand their risk management skillset and knowledge. Since its inception, the talks have been given live several times a month from New York, on Zoom and livestreamed on YouTube.

The typical STORM start times are friendly to North American mornings (9 AM ET) and European afternoons (1 PM GMT). Delta Vega created the STORM LinkedIn group to announce updates, and to encourage comments and dialogue. When it was subsequently found that financial engineers globally, including Africa, South Asia, and Asia/Pacific wanted to be included, the talk videos were archived for viewing on demand.
